Second opinion
Have you recently asked someone from a computer repair service to look at your PC, and they have recommended something drastic or extravagant such as changing your broadband provider or buying a new PC?
If this was news you weren't expecting, or you are suspicious of what you've been told (either because the technician was vague with his explanations or started throwing technical jargon at you) there is a strong possibility he hasn't properly determined what the problem is, or worse still, has absolutely no idea what he is doing.
